Why would they split the game in 3 parts?. A solid Twin Stick Shooter.If you want to mow things down with no ethical quandry, this is a good game series. I had fun all the way through. It doesn't do anything unique or ground breaking, but it's solid for what it is. The game has a good number of weapons, each good in different situations. Flame thrower is fun.I think one of my few complaints about this game series is a minor preference thing. There's 3 different upgrades for each weapon but you can only choose ONE. If you upgrade to another you will only be using the new one, not both. Just a money saving tip.. Alien Breed 3: Descent is not a spectacular game by any means, but it is still worth playing if you have some extra time. The game does a good job at creating intense moments of action and suspense, but beyond that it is simply an average twin stick shooter with a somewhat interesting but predictable story.. Good for killing 3 hours of your day.. Final episode. This part shows of the engine usage way more than the first two parts. Game felt longer than the 7 hrs it took to run through it, and it had a nice feeling to it, even though the controls are the same.. Finale in a trio of isometric shooters. One of the few games that may make you feel a bit wobbly. A great top down shooter with a excellent story and all told with the classic comic strip style with brilliant voiceovers. A rich environment which just before it gets boring throws in a new challenge by mixing up the standard isometric camera views to be all tight and cramped as a narrow crawlspace, and really keeps you immersed. All kinds of video effects which were a bit OTT for me and made me feel a bit queazy do definitely make the situation realistic and are very well dropped in mode changes which with time based escapes and clever damage choices you need to make, so it's not just bullets and accuracy. It's 3 games which you play in sequence, each one starts you fresh, so no carry over of equipment or stats. well if you've played one and two then you know what you're getting... more of the same... the scenery looks the same, it controls the same, not sure why they spun it out into 3 games - I started the story on this one and it gave you a "previously on Alien Breed..." sounds like I've not missed much to be honest... they've thrown a few nicer weapons into the survival modes... still a decent twin-stick shooter, but definitely nothing special.... kill it KILL IT WITH FIRE
